How We Work

Interior by Design offer a range of services from simple design and colour advice right through to helping you to refurbish your home or commercial space completely.  If you decide to use any of our services it is important to us that you have a clear understanding of how we will deliver it for you, so that you remain entirely happy.

Initial Consultation

We want to work with you in order to understand what you want to achieve and what your expectations are.  We will come and meet with you, by appointment, and our initial consultation (lasting 30 minutes to 1 hour) is free.  During this time we can also discuss how we can best assist you to successfully achieve your goals.

If you feel you need additional consultations, a fee will be charged for the time spent with you.  Additional consultation fees will be discussed and agreed with you prior to arranging further meetings.  Please see below for details of our Terms of Payment.

After our initial meeting with you, there is no obligation on you to instruct us to carry out any further work on your behalf.

Our Services

Following your free initial consultation, we want to be able to work with you and, to do so, we offer the following services:

  • CAD Drawings
  • Interior Stylist
  • Visual Merchandising

You may decide to ask us for assistance with any one or all of the above.  Our current prices will be advised and will be agreed with you prior to agreement to carry out the work for you.  Please see below for details of our Terms of Payment.

We can only offer guidance and recommendations based upon our discussions with you.  The aim of ‘Interior by Design’ is to inspire and provide ideas.  The final decisions are yours.

We take pride in the fact that we do not have unhappy clients and we endeavour to discuss all design concepts and changes until clients are satisfied.  However, we cannot guarantee that you will always be in agreement with our suggestions.  If this is the case, we cannot offer refunds.  If you are unhappy with the service that is provided, we will be glad to discuss the matter further by telephone/email in order to give further advice and recommendations.

We will agree a timescale, in which any work we carry out will be completed, with you.  Timescales will be approximate and you will be advised if there will be any delay or change to the original timescale.

Terms of Payment

The cost of our services will be advised at our initial consultation.  Our costs will be discussed and agreed with you prior to agreement being made to carry out the service for you.  All prices are subject to VAT.

Where more than one of our services are used, we will set out in writing the work that we have agreed to carry out on your behalf.

An invoice will be submitted accordingly and payment will be due within 28 days.  We reserve the right to charge interest on invoices that are not paid within that time (at the rate payable on judgement debts from the date of delivery of the invoice to the date of actual payment).


You have the right to cancel any agreement/contract for provision of services at any time up to the end of seven working days after the day on which the agreement/contract was made.  A working day is any day other than weekends and bank or public holidays.  Cancellation can be effected by telephone call, email or post.


The copyright, design right and all other intellectual property rights in any materials and other documents or items prepared or produced for you by or on behalf of Interior by Design in connection with the services shall belong to Interior by Design absolutely and any such materials, documents or items shall be or remain the sole property of Interior by Design.

Interior by Design shall be permitted to use photographs of your property which demonstrate the services provided by Interior by Design for its own marketing purposes, with your permission only.
